Effectively fighting varroosis –
for healthy bees and assured honey harvests

Whether summer or winter treatment: we effectively fight varroosis with organic acids ad us. vet. (Ameisensäure 60% ad us. vet. 1, Milchsäure 15% ad us. vet. 2, Oxalsäuredihydrat-Lösung 3,5% (m/V) ad us. vet. 3 ) and essential oils (APILIFE VAR 4).

Basic information
Ameisensäure 60% ad us. vet.: Solution for bees
Indications: Varroose of the honey bee (Apis mellifera)
Withdrawal period: Honey: apply after the last honey harvest of the year.
Warning notes: The solution causes burns!
Do not inhale vapors!
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately.
Protective gloves should be worn when working with formic acid.
Keep away from light and heat.
Unused amounts of formic acid 60% ad us. vet. should be diluted with water before disposal (at least 1:10)

Milchsäure 15% ad us. vet.: Solution for bees
Indications: Varroose (pathogen: Varroa destructor (formerly: Varroa jacobsoni Oud.)) of the honey bee (Apis mellifera)
Withdrawal period: For late autumn/winter treatment none; for summer treatment only use first the honey harvest of the traditional costume of the following year.
Warning notes: The solution can irritate the skin and eyes.
Do not inhale spray fumes.
Inadvertent inhalation of acidic spray can cause breathing difficulties and coughing fits.
When working with lactic acid, wear protective gloves, protective goggles and, if necessary, half mask with filter (A1P2 or A2P2).

Oxalsäuredihydrat-Lösung 3,5% (m/V) ad us. vet.: Solution and sucrose powder for mixing before use, for bees for trickle treatment in the non-breeding hive.
Indications: For the treatment of varroosis (Varroa destructor) of the honey bee (Apis mellifera) in the broodless period (late autumn).
Withdrawal period: After treatment of bees with oxalic acid dihydrate solution in late autumn, honey must not be harvested until the following spring.
Warning notes: Oxalic acid dihydrate solution is hazardous to health!
The oxalic acid dihydrate solution and the ready-to-use solution may irritate the skin and eyes.
When working with solutions containing oxalic acid dihydrate, therefore, wear acid-resistant protective gloves and protective goggles.
In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
Store drug out of reach of children.
Pregnant women should not come into contact with oxalic acid dihydrate.

APILIFE VAR: Impregnated strips for the hive for honey bees
Indications: Treatment of varroosis in honeybees caused by Varroa destructor.
Withdrawl period: Honey: 0 days. Do not use during the costume to avoid impairment of the honey taste
Warning notes: Avoid direct skin and eye contact, as irritation may occur when thymol comes in contact with skin or eyes.
Wear impervious gloves and usual protective equipment when handling the product.
After use, clean hands and any material that has come into contact with the strip with soap and water.
In case of contact with the skin, wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of clear, running water and seek medical attention immediately.
Do not inhale.
